Polyamide 1012 (PA 1012, Nylon 1012) is produced by the polymerization of hexamethylene diamine and dodecanedioic acid. Nylon 1012 is a milky white to light yellow translucent solid that has the best characteristics of both nylon 6 and nylon 12. Typical applications for nylon 1012 include fuel line, air lines, hose and tube, quick connectors, automotive cooling lines, and various injection molded parts.
It can be widely used in the automotive industry, machinery manufacturing(ol containers, textile machinery parts), and in the electronicindustry for making battrey casings, instrument rails, etc. t can also be used as bristles of toothbrushes, monoflaments and cablecorerings, etc.lt can be customized in injection and extrusion grade according to customers requirements.
