Modified High-Temperature Polyphthalamide (PPA)
Polyphthalamide (abbreviated as PPA) is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic aromatic polyamide, commonly known as aromatic high-temperature nylon. It can withstand a long-term operating temperature of up to 180°C and a short-term temperature resistance of up to 290°C. PPA boasts advantages such as high strength, high hardness, cost-effectiveness, low water absorption, dimensional stability, and excellent weldability. With outstanding overall physical properties, PPA material performs well in terms of thermal, electrical, physical, and chemical resistance characteristics. In particular, it maintains high strength and excellent dimensional stability even at elevated temperatures.
Engine Peripheral Components: Such as intake manifolds, engine covers, oil pans, etc. These components need to withstand the high temperatures and mechanical stresses within the engine compartment.
