• PA1012 Characteristics

• Good Flexibility: PA1012 is a flexible nylon material that combines heat resistance, chemical resistance, and hydrolysis resistance. Its chemical resistance and resistance to stress cracking caused by ZnCl₂/CaCl₂ are comparable to those of PA11/PA12 and superior to those of toughened and plasticized grades of PA612 and PA610.

• High Bio-based Content: PA1012 is a renewable and environmentally friendly bio-based nylon, with a bio-based content that can reach over 60%. It is synthesized from sebacic acid (derived from castor oil) and hexamethylenediamine.

• Excellent Low-temperature Performance: It has good low-temperature resistance and dimensional stability, as well as low fuel and gas permeability.

Application

The modified Nylon compound can be widely used in the automotive industry, machinery manufacturing(ol containers, textile machinery parts), and in the electronicindustry for making battrey casings, instrument rails, etc. It can also be used as bristles of toothbrushes, monoflaments and cablecorerings, etc.lt can be customized in injection and extrusion grade according to customers requirements.
