ORINKO PA6+CF
Material Introduction: PA6 CF20 (Polyamide 6 with 20% Carbon Fiber)
PA6 CF20 is a high-performance engineering plastic based on Polyamide 6 (Nylon 6), reinforced with 20% carbon fiber. This composite material offers an excellent balance of mechanical strength, stiffness, and thermal stability, making it ideal for demanding industrial applications.
Key Features:
High Strength and Stiffness: Carbon fiber reinforcement significantly improves tensile strength and rigidity compared to unfilled PA6.
Lightweight: Offers high mechanical performance with reduced weight—an advantage in lightweight structural applications.
Dimensional Stability: Low shrinkage and warpage ensure precise molding and dimensional accuracy.
Improved Thermal Resistance: Higher heat deflection temperature (HDT) than standard PA6, suitable for applications exposed to elevated temperatures.
Electrical Conductivity (Optional): Depending on formulation, may provide dissipative or semi-conductive properties.
Wear Resistance: Enhanced wear and fatigue resistance due to carbon fiber reinforcement.
Typical Applications:
Automotive components (e.g., brackets, housings, engine covers)
Drone and UAV structural parts
Electrical/electronic housings
Industrial machinery parts
Sports equipment and robotics
Processing Methods:
Injection molding
Extrusion (depending on grade)
Machining (for semi-finished stock shapes)
Color: Usually black (due to carbon fiber content)
Note: Proper drying is required before processing to avoid moisture-related defects.
